Financial Goals

This page allows you to see what God has done throughout our adoption process. We appreciate all those who have given to help us get to this point.  Every time we have needed the funds to complete another step, God has either provided it through someone or allowed us to earn what we need.

First Lifeline Payment: $1500 - PAID!

Home Study Fee: $1500- PAID!

Online Education (to be completed before the end of the Home Study): $195 - PAID!

Immigration Fee: $890 - PAID!

Second Lifeline Payment: $1500 (Due upon completion of the Home Study) PAID!

Third Lifeline Payment: $1500 (Due when the Dossier is sent to Hungary) PAID!

Home Study update: $500  PAID! Thank you, Show Hope donor!

Overseas Fees:  $11,000 (Due a week or two before travel and includes such things as court costs, paperwork expediting fees, passport and Visa money for or daughter, facilitator costs, and administrative fees)  PAID!  Most of this fee was covered through a combination of our loan from Lifesong and grants from Show Hope, Families Outreach, and JSC.

Crossings Training: $150 per couple (Training to prepare us and our children for the adjustment after the adoption) PAID!

Child Medical Exam, Passport Money, Child Visa: $1,055

Out Of Pocket Expenses During Travel: $10,500 (This includes airfare, accommodations, food, transportation, facilitator/translator expenses, etc. while in Poland to pick up our daughter.) 

If you would still like to give, you can do so through Lifesong for Orphans where we have a fundraising page.  There are two ways this can be done.  Funds can be donated online or via check sent through the mail and will be accepted until the adoption is complete or she is in our home.

1)  Checks can be made payable to "Lifesong for Orphans".  In the memo section of the check, you must note the family account number and our family name to assure that it goes to the correct account.  Our family account number is 4122 and the family name is Foster.  Checks can be mailed to Lifesong For Orphans, PO Box 40, Gridley, IL61744.  100% of the money that is donated via mail will go directly to our adoption.

2)You may also give online.  Go to www.lifesongfororphans.org/give/donate.  Under "gift preference", select "adoption funding" and under "adoption gift preference", select "family specific".  Our family account number is 4122 and the family name is Foster.  Please note that if you choose to donate online, Paypal does charge an administrative fee that will be taken our of the total donation amount.

In following IRS guidelines, your donation is to the named non-profit organization.  The organization retains full discretion over its use, but intends to honor the donor's suggested use.  Individuals donation of $250 or more or yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax-deductible receipt.  Receipts for donations less than $250 can be requested.  Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.
